CleanPrettyPark is a free program that detects and cleans the PrettyPark worm from your system. PrettyPark arrives on your computer via email, and once active, tries to send itself to all entries in your address book. It also attempts to connect to an IRC server, allowing the worm's author to retrieve sensitive information from your computer. Just run CleanPrettyPark and click on Start to rid yourself of this unwelcome pest.

About

This program attempts to clean the worm "Pretty Park.exe" from your system.

How to use the program

Simply run the program and click "Start".

Manual Cleaning

This is only required if CleanPrettyPark is unable to clean your system for you.

Here is how you will be able to remove the PrettyPark worm if this program does not work for you:

  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.

  2. Type REGEDIT, then click OK.

  3. Modify the following Registry value:
         \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\exefile\shell\open\command
    and change:
         files32.vxd "%1" %*
    to:
         "%1" %*

  1. Delete the PrettyPark.exe file.

  2. Restart your computer.

  3. Delete the \Windows\System\Files32.vxd file.
